Bridlington Cricket Club

Bridlington Cricket Club’s aim is to play, promote and develop the game of cricket for the benefit of people of all ages in the Bridlington area regardless of gender, capability or ethnic background.

Cricket was first played in Bridlington as early as 1820 and we are therefore one of the oldest established cricket clubs in Yorkshire.

Bridlington Cricket Club is an ERCAS Level 2 Club and ECB Clubmark accredited.

We run two senior teams and three junior teams at Under 11, U13 and U15 age groups.

We partner with Bridlington Schools Sports Partnership and the Yorkshire Cricket Board to provide cricket for boys and girls in the Bridlington area.

Bridlington Cricket Club has a rapidly growing junior section and we have more than 50 junior members.

We are an ECB ‘All Stars Cricket’ centre and a ‘Chance 2 Shine’ club.

Coaching for juniors and net practice for seniors starts early January which is indoors at Bridlington School Sports Hall on Bessingby Road.

In the summer junior coaching takes place at Dukes Park on Thursday evenings.
